As part of the Church of England safer recruitment and our wider safeguarding measures and policies, there are some steps to follow, which we will take you through when you apply:

• Apply for the role by speaking to the person you should contact for the role.
• If accepted, read and agree to the job description for the role you are applying for. This will help you understand what is expected of you and what you can expect from us.
• Adhere to the church and wider church policies, especially those around safeguarding. We take the safety and well-being of our members and visitors very seriously and we expect you to do the same.
• Provide appropriate references
• Attend the appropriate training and orientation sessions for your role. We will provide you with the necessary resources and support to help you serve effectively and joyfully.
