Commitment to Safeguarding

The church is not just a place of worship and where ministry programmes happen, but also a place of safety and trust. Parents will want to know that not only are their children being cared for spiritually, but also that they are in a safe environment. Vulnerable adults need to be reassured that Christ Church is a place where they will be safe and protected. The church takes the safety of everyone within the church very seriously and expects that everyone will work within the church safeguarding policy. In particular, the church expects anyone who becomes aware of a safeguarding risk or of actual abuse, to immediately raise this with the safeguarding officer.
